Talking with the organizers from Baselan it is safe to say that Baselan 21 was an overwhelming success.  Baselan is back with a vengeance with the 3 day event that ran even better than expected. There was a great new group of young gamers who really drove the event back to its original glorious status.

From the event coordinator Aaron:
"We had over 300 gamers throughout the weekend and completely sold out the computer side of the event, we even had to setup extra tables to compensate for the gamers showing up at the door as ‘walk ins’. We even had a group of friends from the United States show up to compete. Props to them for traveling out."

There were many events, with Starcraft 2, Call of Duty Black Ops, and Team Fortress 2 being some of the bigger highlights.  One lucky winner even walked away with a Psyko Krypton headset system.

Always great to see some awesome Canadian events, so hopefully we will be there next year.
